Elite Response Training is a highly professional and experienced company that specialises in First Aid, Lone Worker, Personal Safety, Self-Defence, Physical Intervention (Restraint) and Weapons Awareness & Recognition training. Elite Response Training formerly traded as Trident Self-Defence Training (TSDT) until April of 2009 and now TSDT (as seen on TV) is the bespoke physical skills element of this unique training company.
Due to the rising interest in first aid and personal safety training the company’s Steven Timperley decided to form Elite Response Training in order to meet the particular needs of those who request specific instruction. Elite Response Training is able to deliver an array of national qualifications in First Aid (HSE & OFSTED) and Weapons Awareness & Recognition (Skills for Security). Elite Response Training also offers certified courses in a wide variety of personal safety related subjects.
In recent years there has been a significant rise in successful claims made against companies because basic safety precautions have not been taken into consideration regarding those who are front-line staff or lone workers. These measures include the appropriate awareness & practical skills training, risk assessments in relation to conflict and the possibilities of violence faced by employees and mandatory first aid instruction. Therefore, Elite Response Training will work closely with management to ensure that a thorough 'risk assessment' is conduct, a 'training needs analysis' is promptly carried out and thereafter existing 'policies' reviewed if required.
