“When Dialog & Dissuasion Fails - Action Beats Reaction”

About TSDT

TSDT techniques are derived from practical traditional martial arts, control & restraint based systems and Western combat arts.  TSDT equips its students with the real skills needed to enhance their survival prospects within an ever-increasing violent society and this is what makes TSDT unique in comparison to other self-defence systems.

TSDT workshops, seminars and courses also contain dialog and defusion techniques, escape drills and pragmatic physical response concepts.  Long term training and bespoke courses can be arranged upon request with consultation so that a suitable training programme can be tailored to your exact needs.

In general, TSDT instruction is educational and enjoyable, it enhances self-confidence, social interaction and importantly it helps to develop Skills for Life!

Why called Trident?

Called Trident because it is a three pronged concept of learning:

  • The confidence to confront an aggressor
  • The ability to apply realistic techniques
  • The development of character through pragmatic instruction.
